文筆家、選曲家。レーベルringsのプロデューサーとしてレイ・ハラカミの再発等に携わり、LA発の非営利ネットラジオdublabの日本ブランチの設立に関わる。リスニングや環境音楽に関連するプロジェクトやワークショップの企画、ホテル等の選曲も手掛け、都市や街、自然と音楽とのマッチングに関心を寄せる。早稲田大学非常勤講師。新著『アンビエント/ジャズ――マイルス・デイヴィスとブライアン・イーノから始まる音の系譜』9/12発売。
Writer and music selector. As a producer for the label rings, he has been involved in the reissue of Ray Harakami’s albums, and was involved in the establishment of the Japanese branch of the LA-based non-profit internet radio station dublab. He also plans projects and workshops related to listening and environmental music, and selects music for hotels, and is interested in matching music with cities, towns, nature, and music. He is a part-time lecturer at Waseda University. His new book, “Ambient/Jazz: A Genealogy of Sound Beginning with Miles Davis and Brian Eno,” will be released on September 12th.
